UBIQUO recently came out with a new set of ear phones called the UBQ. The UBQ earphones bring stereo sound quality to your ears. The earphones are made from non-pvc material so it is eco friendly; to those that are sensitive about materials used. The earphones come in a black, white, and pink, very easy to use, fits snug into the ear, and coordinates very well with any device. It can be a hassle to detangle earphones but since this is made from non-pvc material it detangles very easily. Trying to avoid all the hustle and bustle around you? I bet the perfect earphones will help you block out the surrounding sounds and do the job, perhaps the UBQ?

INSMOBILE came out with a mini PMP called the iVIDI. A fabulous PMP offering many different features and enjoyable for any user. The iVIDI comes in simple black or pristine white. It is user friendly, charges with a USB, and a micro SD used to store your files. It has a 3.3” widescreen for your viewing pleasure and the picture quality is impeccable because you can view in HD. iVIDI has a touch screen with a G-sensor so navigating through different options is easy with the touch of a finger. You can listen to music, view your favorite shows or movies, store pictures or files, but NOT like any other PMP it has many different features as well. It can be used to listen to the radio, view pictures or documents, used as an alarm, timer, calculator, stop watch, and even records sound. The interface screens of the different features are very tasteful in design, straight forward, and very easy to navigate. So as you can see it’s not an ordinary PMP! I would love to have one of these to carry around with me for times when I just need a breather. A great new toy for anyone!!

Nowadays, everything has been digitized even our daily home furnishing, like the digital frames, the cool tech-y refrigerators, and now this, the Photo phone. I know that there is such a thing like the photo phone available out there, but nothing has been commercialized like this. SamSung has done it again, along with all their other brilliant products; they came out with the photo phone SP-M100. The photo phone SP-M100 is a wireless phone with a 7” inch LCD touch screen on the charging dock. It can be used as a digital photo frame or even a stereo! You can also store other pictures or images to set to specific numbers, so that you can conveniently call that number by touching the image on the LCD touch screen. The photo phone SP-M100 also has the capability to play MP3 files and has a memory of 2GB. The photo phone only comes in white and black revealing its modern design. You can add this photo phone to any living space and it gives a chic look, it can possibly even replace your stereo system for a cleaner interior design. So is this the next move forward to our home phones? I guess we’ll find out in about a decade or so.

A cute dog shaped speaker that plays anything you plug in! I found this product to be very simple, user friendly, and very cute in design. idear has a line of small portable speakers that are attachable to nearly anything you can tie it to. Mostly people attach it to their cell phones for easy access. Although their original cube design has a simple and clean look, they came out with a new design that is cuter and more appealing to the eye. The new design is in the shape of a dog and can be attached by its string around the collar. It is very cute, portable, and user friendly. The speaker is simply turned on when the audio cable is plugged in and turned off when the plug is taken out. Also the speaker can be charged by being plugged into any PC USB port, and an LED light lets you know that it is charging. A no brainer, that even a little kid can use it!! idear’s products have a concept of simple design and being close to nature, so all their products are made from wood. It gives it an earthy feeling, instead of the plastic products we use daily. A combination of the digital era and the old natural feeling of the wood material is very different and very appealing. So if you need a portable speaker that is user friendly and cute to carry around with you, why not this one?

Many people use a Bluetooth headset for their cell phones because its hands free, so you can multi-task. Well, here is the next step for the Bluetooth headset, an MP3 player built-in. Mobifren came up with the GBH-S300 a Stereo Bluetooth Headset with the built-in MP3 Player, and honestly I think it’s ingenious. It’s perfect for city life, which means your main way of transportation is by walking. In the city, perhaps, New York City for example, you walk everywhere and most people have their MP3 players in hand listening to their music. The main reason for the MP3 player is to avoid all the traffic noise of the busy city life and to make your way around town a little bit more delightful. Wouldn’t you rather listen to music than the heavy traffic?
The GBH-S300 is a Bluetooth headset that you can use as an MP3 player but if you get a phone call it alerts you of the incoming call. I thought it might be very convenient for those that use their cell phones a lot, especially for those that like to tune out their surroundings at times. This way you don’t need to purchase a separate MP3 player. Also not only can you use this with your cell phones, but you can use this with anything that has the Bluetooth capability. You can use this with your laptop or your PMPs to view movies or shows because it has cinema quality sound. The GBH-S300 has proximity auto-pairing which can connect up to two devices simultaneously. It can pair up to 8 devices and you can also use the micro SD portable disc to store your files. I know that a lot of the smart phones these days come with a feature where you can upload music into the phones, but why waste space on your phone when you can upload it into the Bluetooth headset.
Now, the only part I was kind of uncertain about was how the device was worn. You can wear it as a clip-on or as a necklace. Which means the clip-on must be somewhat near your head so that the ear phones can be plugged into your ears. The more apparent is the necklace that holds the Bluetooth headset which obviously is not a great fashion statement. But you pick and choose your battles, if the looks do not bother you, go for it~! But if it does, they do come in a variety of colors to choose from and the overall design of the GBH-S300 is very simple, sleek, and sharp.
