One of the greatest inventions, the automobile, is our main source of transportation. Almost everybody knows how to drive a car and owns one. Now, a person may have a license, but are they a good driver? Hopefully they are so it’s safe for everyone on the road, but you never know what could happen right? I’m sure that everyone has heard of the black box on airplanes, how it records audio and some information is salvaged to figure out what happened. Now there is the Detect Security Smarty, which is a black box for your car. The Smarty records video footage from your car, whichever direction you point the camera of course. So u might not want to be picking your nose, just in case someone looks at the footage.
The Smarty comes in three parts and the camera can be directed in any direction as pleased. The vibrations and bouncing of the car does not really affect the video footage because there is a stability stand that secures the camera in place. The footage is saved on a 2GB SD memory card and there is a special program installed in the Smarty so you can store the video footage on your PC for later viewing. You can convert them as AVI files and even print out pictures of different captures of the video to use as evidence for an accident or for other incidents. The Smarty can help you feel secure and safe so that you don’t end up in a mess that you can’t get out of.
UBIQUO recently came out with a new set of ear phones called the UBQ. The UBQ earphones bring stereo sound quality to your ears. The earphones are made from non-pvc material so it is eco friendly; to those that are sensitive about materials used. The earphones come in a black, white, and pink, very easy to use, fits snug into the ear, and coordinates very well with any device. It can be a hassle to detangle earphones but since this is made from non-pvc material it detangles very easily. Trying to avoid all the hustle and bustle around you? I bet the perfect earphones will help you block out the surrounding sounds and do the job, perhaps the UBQ?
People have many ways to relieve their stress, whether it is by eating chocolate (that’s me!), exercising until your legs fall off, or even just eating away. Wouldn’t you rather be away reading a book on the beach, or even hiking per say to relieve that stress? Some say that the air we breathe can affect our stress level, which means cleaner air will help relieve our stress. A company called MCsquare came out with Dr. Luft, an air filtration system that emits particles in the air to make it seem like you’re breathing clean fresh air from the mountains. Can you believe it?? Fresh clean crisp air in your own home, even without a forest near you. Usually plants in the home somewhat do the trick of making the air in your home a little bit more pleasant, but Dr. Luft can do it with the touch of a button.
Dr. Luft is easy to operate with a remote or by the touch sensor buttons. It has three modes, the focus mode where it emits the forest-like air with the soothing sounds of the forest, the leisure mode where it just emits the purified air, and the sleep mode where it turns on/off automatically. It comes in three colors of white, black, and pink, also slim in design so it can fit easily anywhere in your home. Who doesn’t want clean air in their homes? But maybe with Dr. Luft you can take it a step further and relax with the soothing fresh air with the sounds of nature in the background.
INSMOBILE came out with a mini PMP called the iVIDI. A fabulous PMP offering many different features and enjoyable for any user. The iVIDI comes in simple black or pristine white. It is user friendly, charges with a USB, and a micro SD used to store your files. It has a 3.3” widescreen for your viewing pleasure and the picture quality is impeccable because you can view in HD. iVIDI has a touch screen with a G-sensor so navigating through different options is easy with the touch of a finger. You can listen to music, view your favorite shows or movies, store pictures or files, but NOT like any other PMP it has many different features as well. It can be used to listen to the radio, view pictures or documents, used as an alarm, timer, calculator, stop watch, and even records sound. The interface screens of the different features are very tasteful in design, straight forward, and very easy to navigate. So as you can see it’s not an ordinary PMP! I would love to have one of these to carry around with me for times when I just need a breather. A great new toy for anyone!!
Nowadays, everything has been digitized even our daily home furnishing, like the digital frames, the cool tech-y refrigerators, and now this, the Photo phone. I know that there is such a thing like the photo phone available out there, but nothing has been commercialized like this. SamSung has done it again, along with all their other brilliant products; they came out with the photo phone SP-M100. The photo phone SP-M100 is a wireless phone with a 7” inch LCD touch screen on the charging dock. It can be used as a digital photo frame or even a stereo! You can also store other pictures or images to set to specific numbers, so that you can conveniently call that number by touching the image on the LCD touch screen. The photo phone SP-M100 also has the capability to play MP3 files and has a memory of 2GB. The photo phone only comes in white and black revealing its modern design. You can add this photo phone to any living space and it gives a chic look, it can possibly even replace your stereo system for a cleaner interior design. So is this the next move forward to our home phones? I guess we’ll find out in about a decade or so.
All electronic companies these days are trying to come out with the smallest, the slimmest, and light weight products. Why? Because our busy lives have made us search for convenient alternatives to everything! Since convenience has saturated our lives, that is what we expect from these electronic companies. Also the new technology allows us to become lazy. Everybody is on the go, so netbooks have become the latest in portable computers. A lot of electronics like the cell phone, TV, and of course the computers are coming out in stronger but slimmer forms. A company called HanSung Computer recently came out with a slimmer approach to netbooks, the SPARQ SL 102HD. The SL 102HD has a 10.2” inch screen in High Definition, has 2G of memory, and 320G hard drive. The SL 102HD comes in a white, black, and a wine red color. So if you’re looking for convenience and something slim enough that won’t take up space in your bag, this might solve the problem.
The mini PC Ripple Look came out with a new design called ECO. This design is white in color with green accents to give a clean and calming image. This mini PC is mainly to be used in the living room for entertainment purposes. The ECO design is suppose to give a clean look because of the simple design and of its white color. You can check out the specifications of the PC below, but this thing is powerful. Don’t judge the mini PC by its size. This new design is sure to attract those who are into white electronics, because I am totally that person! I don’t know what it is but I just have a thing for white electronics?! I think it makes it look so clean and sharp. Anyways, check out this new design and see if you prefer the ECO design or the Crystal design.
Zenus is a company known for their leather cases for different electronics, recently they have come out with a new iPhone 3GS case called the illumirror. This product is a leather case with a transparent cover for the screen. The clear cover is made of special silicon that is fixed with the leather material for the back of the iPhone. The clear cover protects the screen and the leather case protects the back of the phone. Fits securely and looks better than the other generic covers out there on the market. Do you remember that “Clap-on~! Clap-off~!” commercial? I’m sure everyone does, if you’re old enough to remember. A device that turns on the light with one clap and turns off the light with two claps. I still remember that commercial because it was so corny, but hey~ it was very catchy and it became one of the most popular commercials of all time. Well if the sound of a clap can control the function of your light switch, of course now with better technology there’s a better device. A company called Aeon Flux came out with the VoiSwitch. A voice activated device that turns on and off your light throughout your house. The VoiSwitch has a name, Naraeya, basically the protocol to give commands. For example, “Naraeya, turn off the light on the front porch,” “Naraeya, turn on the light in master bedroom.”
The device itself is white in color, sleek in design, and aesthetically very pleasing to put on any wall. It has three microphones that can pick up sound with ease and has great voice recognition. Other than just turning on and off the light you can put a timer on any light fixture, kind of like a sleep timer on your TV. You set the amount of time you want the light to be turned on and then when the time is up it shuts off the light. You can even ask for the time, “Naraeya, what time is it?” and it will tell you exactly what time it is.
You can pretend like you have a smart house, command or ask the VoiSwitch and Naraeya will follow through. This is something that you can see in an awesome bachelor pad!
